Hi, I am new to this forum and hope it can be much help to me in the future. I plan to have a Flemish Giant by the end of December(early planner). I'm going to purchase it as a Christmas gift to myself and hopefully will be able to share some photos with you guys! I also have a small problem I have ran into regarding the construction of my cage.

Ignore the paint, carpet, and other stuff. I am redoing my room at the moment.

So anyways, the picture I provided is the space I intend to use for the cage. It is a 6ft by 2ft 10in space. I cant move my desk and somehow I have to build the cage around it. So my questions are... What can I use for the bottom of the cage to protect my wood floor? Is thereSquare tubing can I use to protect the legs of my desk? How tall should the wire sides of the cage be?

I also need to know what brand of metal panels can be separated to enclose the cage. I don't know where to start, butI appreciate all the help I can get.

Welcome to the forum and to a future Flemish bunny slave.

There are a lot of things you can use to cover your floor. Many stores like Menards, Lowes and Home Depot have thin panels that are laminated on one side that you can use to protect your floor.

You could use the same platic tubing that is used to protect small trees, you can cut it to the length you need. There is also tubing used to house car wires that you can use to protect any cords or cables.

Most people use NIC panels available at Target, Kmart and similiar stores. I have Flemish and they can easily jump over two panels (28 inches high), so you may have to go up to three.

What kind of puppy is the blue one?
