Hi! I am going to attempt to actually stay active with this site seeing how I can probably use the help... lol.. Anyways! My name is Becka, and my bunny's name is Boba. yes, like the things you can find in drinks type of Boba. Lol, Anyways Boba is less than a year old... I think she is hitting nine months now... I cannot remember because when I got her it was a very hectic time..... I think I got her in April. If not March. Anyways! Boba is an not spayed female who loves to show dominance to my sister, and will not hesitate to show when she is upset. She is a very spoiled rabbit and would now like to say a few words.

Boba:

Hello Houmans. I want all of your love and carrots. I also want to chew on your cords. But I cannot. So for now I will settle for carrots. Thank you and good night.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I saw your prior post months ago -- I guess no one knew what that was. Anyway, I noticed on that post that you mentioned your rabbit always has "pellets and or hay." Just thought I'd mention (in case you didn't know) that if your rabbit is over 6 months now, (you're guessing around 9 months) then your bunny is considered an adult. Once adult, they should get only limited pellets. Hay they should have 24/7 -- lots and lots! An average size rabbit (5-7 lbs) would normally only get about 1/4 cup plain pellets per day.

Just thought I'd mention it in case you weren't aware.

Hi Blue! I did not realize this, I was told that after about a year I am to start doing the limitations. Lol, what about a 2 to 4 pound rabbit? My rabbit was supposed to be a dwarf but ended up not being a dwarf but is till small... infarct.... my bunny looks like your grey and white bunny lol. just smaller XD . But, Thanks for giving me this information, I seriously appreciate it.

You're welcome! Very small rabbits are often high in energy and so they often need about that same amount -- 1/4 cup. Some may even need a little more to maintain weight. The trick is to be sure that they are eating plenty of hay. Some rabbits will prefer the pellets over their hay and that isn't good. Hay should make up the bulk of their diet. They should eat about their body size in hay every day. If they are eating plenty of hay, great. Then the roughly 1/4 cup of pellets per day should work. You can increase that amount a little bit as long as they maintain weight and maintain lots of hay eating. Here's more on diet.
