HEllo New To The Forum

Hello, Names Brian. Im new tot heforum. I have 2 Buns, 1 half Loped named Jingles (My g/fsbunnie it was my xmas present to her) and i have my bun she bought mePepper (Full Lop) Pepper just had her first liter ofbabies. I will admit i didnt expect it but they are all goingto have good homes. Im comtemplating on keeping them if i canbuild a big enough hutch for them. Does anyone have any hutchlinks as to hose togo about building one big enough to suit thisfamily. She had a liter of 5 babies. Here are somepictures of the father, mother , and the babies.

Those babies are cute. And what nice looking parents they have.

As for keeping them all, that would be really hard. You wouldhave to build the hutch so they would be separated. Theywouldn't necessarily get along and all would need spayed orneutered. The babies will be sexually mature at 12weeks. I know it's tempting, I'd want to keep themtoo. If it were me, I'd keep 1 or 2 so I could properlyaccommodate them and then sell the rest for pets to responsibleowners. Make sure you screen the owners and request that thebabies be spayed or neutered.

I agree with cirrustwi. It would be really hard to house allthose babies together, especially as even litter mates don't always getalong. Rabbits can get really mean when they fight.If you really wanted to keep them all, I would suggest housing themseparately after they are weaned until they are allspayed/neutered. Not only would this prevent more unexpectedbabies, but reducing their hormones goes a long way towards bondingyour rabbits.
