Hello all,

My name is Liz and my husband and I adopted a little boy bun, we named Cookie about 3 weeks ago. He literally just sort of fell into our lives lol we were out at a local pet shop getting some treat for our dogs (we have a lasa apso and a Maltese) and we walked past the small animal section and there was this beautiful bun in this little cage,he was dropped outside the store over night the week before in a cardboard box with a note that said they couldn't keep him anymore... :?
We hadn't been planning on getting a bun per say... However I'd always wanted one... We held him and immediately fell.in.love. He began licking my chin within seconds of cuddling him!! That was that... We brought him home!

He is seriously the best bun! (of course I'm slightly biased) hehe but he has Never had an accident, litter trained from day one! And I didn't have to do a thing to train him lol Go Me! ;) and he doesn't try to destroy anything but his toys! He also can run all over the whole house and still go all the way back downstairs to his litter box to go potty. He comes to us 9 time out of 10 when we call him and takes big leaps every time we say "happy bunny" he's never shown an ounce of aggression and just loves on us constantly!

I seriously have no idea how anyone could NOT want him! Their loss :)

I'm so glad to have found this forum! I have a lot to learn and so excited to have found a place where I can pick the brains of those more experienced bun owners out there!!

Look forward to getting to know all of you!

He is a silver Martin (we assume lol the vet thinks so and using reference picture we do to) and yes I have tons of pics and videos lol I'm kind of obsessed LOL how do I post pics? He is seriously SO fun... I hate going to work, cuz I have to stop playing with him! Hahaha lol

Hi welcome to you and Cookie.

How old do you think Cookie is? Has he been neutered yet?

What do the doggies think of Cookie?

I use Photobucket (it's free) and then just copy & paste the IMG code to RO.

Looking forward to those pictures.

Susan:)

Hi thank you! Our vet thinks cookie is about 18 months old. He is not currently neutered, we will be doing so in the spring though. He is much more interested in the dogs than they are of him lol they have yet to be together without a gate separating them but whenever they come up to the cage Cookie runs over and sniffs and rubs up against them lol he is fearless lol

And cool I will set up a photo bucket and get some pics up :)

Hi there and welcome to the forum, I hope you find it very resourceful.
Make sure you write a blog and include lots of pictures for everybody to squeee over! :D

Welcome to the Forum. Your Cookie's coat pattern is almost identical to our Dobby. And it's like deja vu your story to us with our Willard. Same thing.

Congratulations into hopping into the Rabbit World. It's definitely a different experience.

Glad you found the forum. Look forward to discussing our favorite subject...rabbits.

K :)

Liz thanks for the photos. Cookie is ADORABLE.:inlove:

Now you run over the Bunny Blog section and start a new blog about Cookie.

This is where you put up ALL his photos and tell us all the exciting things he does.
