Hello I'm New

Hello all =^.^=

Me and my bunny boys are new here and i thought we should say Hi.

Thumper is the oldest and he is a wild rabbit, i found him when he was a month old and just fell in love with his cute little face and ears, now he is all grown up and he ears and much longer lol. i found out after his first birthday that he has an under bite and the vet said he would have died if he was left in the wild and then we found out the place i found him was over run with foxes two weeks after i got him and killed all the rabbits, my mom says he saved his life twice, im just glad i have him and he is happy.

Yuki is the younger of the two but be is definitely the dominant one of the pair he can be a bit of a pain at time but every child is heh. He is vary protective of thumper and his cage but he is getting better i can put my hands in adn he will lick me insted of bite. Before i got yuki i didn;t know rabbits could growlits a vary interesting sound but i know he is mad about something when he does it, He was sold to me as a norweigen dworf but i think he is part lion head too and he loves to give kisses he will clean your entire face if you let him.

heh he isn't so little anymore he weighs 5.4 pounds now but he still likes to sit on my shoulder and watch me while I'm on the comp lol

I can't see your picture of Yuki. We had lots of wild rabbits in our yard. I feed them apples all the time especially in the winter.

Thumpers adorable, I may have to come Bunnynap him. LOL He looks heavier than the wild bunnies I get in my yard. Speaking of which I better go put out a couple of apples for them.

Hi there and welcome to RO! Your Thumper is adorable! You know, I dont think he's a wild bunny though- he looks like an agouti colored bunny, who are often mistaken for wild bunnies.

It could be he was let loose, along with other domestic bunnies. A wild bunny will not be so relaxed around humans- even if they are raised with them. I have a friend who rescues cottontails and they do not let you hold them like that.

Regardless, he's so adorable. Im so glad you saved him!

yeah i was thinking about that too but i found him at about 4 weeks so i don't know i would like to know what he is he is a sweetheart and loves to snuggle, from the moment i found him he was always snuggled into me and fallen asleep, nad he loves to be wrapped in a blanket and carried around with me, when he was little he went everywhere with me and only pee'd on me once.

him and yuki groom each other and its so cute they sleep in a ying yang position all the time but every time i try and take pic's of them yuki gets up thumps and goes to the other cage i think he is camera shy lol

reason i dont have pic's of yuki up yet is he is afraid of the dog and runs back to the cage when i take him out even if she is not around

I feel so bad, i missed putting up my little man's birthday, on December 2ed Yuki turned 2 years old, he is my Christmas bunny ^.^ went and got him a present and now have to get him to let me take pictures of him hehe

Have you thought about starting a blog? you could put all your pics and stories there and would probably get more views and comments than here
