Hello to you all, I am from Western Australia.
I have a female rabbit but not sure what she is. I saw her at my local vet and felt sorry for her so took her home.
About 4 days later I saw that she was building a nest so I rang the vet and they said bring her down for an x-ray, they took 3 pics and said she was definitely not pregnant.
A week later I went out in the morning to clean her hutch and notice she had given birth to 6 babies.
What a shock as I have never had a rabbit before, I have been given a lot of information on another forum which has been really helpful. The babies are now 3 weeks old and are getting up to all sorts of mischief.
I came across this forum and thought I might join in, this is my first experience at rabbits and gee they sure are addictive.
Mum and babies canbe seen on the link below.
