Hello! My name is Sophie, and I found this site on google. I was looking for a site I could go to for my bunny questions((and this definitely seems like the place! XD)). I have three bunnies, Harper, Popcorn and Butter/Butters((whose name is actually, according to my mother, Nissan pronounced nis en. But I'm trying to convince her that the Butters/Popcorn pair is cuter)).
Harper is my inside bunny, and is supposedly a Rex mix. He will be a year old April 11, which is actually his estimated birthday, placed on an easy date to remember because I have a bad memory)). He's not exactly litter box trained((he would rather flip the box than sit in it)), but he is AMAZINGLY cage trained somehow. I'll even let him play in his pen outside and he'll go potty inside it. Such a clean bunny. n_n He's my first, the one my mother wanted because my cousins had three.
Popcorn and Butters/Nissan are my outside bunnies, and they are about 3 month old New Zealands. They're FFA show bunnies, from my friend. I haven't determined their genders yet, so far both look like girls but I'm waiting another month. They're going to be moved((soon, hopefully)) to the backyard from the garage, and will hopefully get a big covered section of the yard to play in.
I also used to have four of my own FFA bunnies, and one was a named pair. I had Peter, Chinchilla, Rabid & Vicious. They were also New Zealands, and kept in the garage. Chinchilla died, the day of the show :c, due to what we think was a hairball((feed hay to your bunnies people!!)) and I blindly listened to my ag teacher so he is now in a landfill somewhere. :C I regret it all the time. The other three were donated back to the chapter, after being sold in auction((fourth place pen of 36 pens I was so proud of my babies!)). I was told I could keep them and they were in the back of the truck all ready to go, then I had to bring them back and give them to some Boys & Girls place because the pen originally going was 'missing'. Right. Lets send some rabbits named 'Rabid' and 'Vicious' to a home for children. They weren't empty names either...I just hope they haven't figured that out and sold them. :c
