Hi there, great place you have here and just wanted to introduce my three boys Houdini, Snowy and Bandido (Bandy for short). Houdini and Snowy are just coming up to a year now and Bandy´s a bit younger at 7 months. They all get on great and love nothing better than racing around my living room and getting up to mischief. Bandy´s favourite thing is food...he´s a little piggy and will eat anything and everything although he does love his hay and his veggies and I keep the pellets to a minimum. Hope I meet lots of other lovely bunnies here and my boys can make new friends.

Thanks so much, I think they´re just toooo cute...yours is absolutely lovely with her pink bow, have you got any more of her. I love white rabbits although I love my little Houdini as well.

Just looking at all these gorgeous bunnies always cheers me up.

I only have one bun, but thank you for thinking she's pretty. I think she's pretty lovely! lol.

Your buns are so cute with their basil! I love your angora, I would love to just snuggle him! Are they all neutered and bonded? If so, thats pretty amazing to have 3 male rabbits be bonded together like that!

I think she´s such a gorgeous bunny. I have a friend who has one just like her, she´s called Lola, I must find a photo of her to post on here.

I came by these three as an ex boyfriend of mine bought them to use in his magic act, they did perform once but I started looking after them and when he left, he didn´t take them with him. I don´t think I could have let him as, by that time, I´d fallen in love with my three little boys.

Houdini and Snowy have been together since they came home I think they´re brothers and they lived together from the start. They´ll be one at Christmas time. Bandy, the angora, came in May and was so tiny at the beginning that they took to him straight away with no problems. I actually thought she was a little girl until he got to around 3-4 months and his bits dropped...it was quite a shock. However, at around 8 months, the two brothers started to fight, nothing serious but didn´t want it to get worse and Houdini was a champion sprayer which is not good when they´re living in the house. So, I had them all neutered at the beginning of October and it went really well and they recovered so quickly. Unfortunately, after a few days apart, Houdini and Snowy were seriously fighting when I put them together, I mean, biting and drawing blood so I had to keep them separate and it made it really difficult when I had to let them out as I had to put one out with Bandy and then put the other one out after I´d put the first one back in his enclosure. It was quite stressful. I had been reading a lot about bonding rabbits and decided I had to have a go at rebonding my boys. So, I put them in the bath together for around a week only for ten minutes the first day, then increasing the time each day. I thought that it wouldn´t work but suddenly on the sixth day, they stopped fighting. I was absolutely overjoyed to see them back to normal.

They now all have their own space when at night and they spend as much time as possible when I´m home in the living room running about and causing havoc. They are all so different, it´s amazing but they give me hours of joy and lots of laughs. I am told that it is unusual to have three bonded males but I´m so glad I have.

And yes, my angora is a bundle of fur, he´s so soft but doesn´t really like cuddles and hates being combed so it´s quite a performance when I try to do that but I´m managing to keep his coat untangled although I do sometimes have to do a bit of cosmetic trimming. He´s here now jumping all over me making it as difficult as possible to write.

Hope I haven´t bored you and would love to see more photos of your beautiful girl.

Can´t believe he´s grown so much but he´s still so cute, love them all to bits.....bunny slave to three little masters :nod

Thanks Nancy, I think they are toooooo...they´re a real handful when they get together. I had fun tonight trying to type with them using me as a springboard to jump from one end of the sofa to the other.

Is that a rabbit I see lying flat on his back with his feet in the air...looks really laid back. Would love to see more photos.

I was so enjoying reading the threads that I wasn´t watching the time and have just realised it´s 1.15am....off to bed as have to be up early tomorrow.

I´m looking forward to posting much more on here about my little trio.

:happyrabbit:

Welcome to RO!
It is amazing to have 3 males bonded. Congrats and glad they are all getting along. Curious...are they free run all the time or are they caged together during certain times?

I have two bonded buns. A female Lionhead Agnes and mini Rex Archie. They were just recently bonded in October.

Glad you found us here! We are definetely a bunch of bun lovers. I love this place because I can share my bunny love with everyone here and no one thinks I'm a weirdo ;)

Hope to hear more from you!

welcome to RO! best of luck keeping the three boys bonded together... same sex bonds can be rough, but so far I'm finding that a little rebonding lesson fixes things up with my two girls - hopefully the same will hold true for you!

The avatar pic is of Nikki when she was 4 months old, asleep on her back with all 4 legs in the air and her mouth open. She's the queen of the "flop'

although Gazzles prefers a more dignified-looking flop, she really LOVES to flop and she'd like to dispute Nikki's claim of being the "queen" of them :p

Thanks everyone, it´s great to get so much feedback so quickly. Everyone obviously spends too much time on here  I think I´ll probably be doing the same as I love to read and see everyone elses buns, they´re all so gorgeous and all so different.

My boys are caged part of the time but their enclosure is quite big, it´s in the corner of my living room. I´ve just actually a wooden type of small chest which opens at the top but has a space at the bottom as well. I thought I could make it into a sleeping area or a play box but haven´t completely worked it out yet but I´m quite excited about it.

I do try and let them roam as much as I can, today they´ve been out since 3 and I put them in for bed when I go to bed which is normally around 12. At weekends, if I´m not going out, they´re out practically all day. Having them out has made me clear up my living room, it´s now full of their stuff to chew, push around and hide in.

I do love my little buns and they are spoilt. Have bought them radish greens, beet greens and chicory today....they´ll be having a feast later. I try and vary what greens I feed them so they get a bit of variety. They love herbs; basil, coriander and parsley, they also like watercress and rocket and love their carrot tops. They go beserk for banana but I only give them a little bit a week as I know it´s not the best thing for them but I´m sure they´d eat it all the time if they could. I must get someone to video them when I feed them it as it´s hilarious, like a rugby scrum, pushing eat other out of the way.

I love the floppy bunnies, they are too cute. Bandy used to sleep like that when he was little. It used to freak me out as he looked as though he was dead. I always used to wake him up just to make sure...poor little thing.

Anyway, I´ve rambled on enough and would love to hear more about Nikki, Gazzles, Agnes and Archie and all the lovely bunnies on RO...

Here´s to spending many hours getting to know you all...

Yes a lot of us spend a lot of time on this forum :)

Its good that they have a lot of exercise, too many people don't know that exercise is a very important factor when caring for rabbits.

Most rabbits go nuts for bananas :) so its not at all surprising that your buns love them.

Yes sometimes my Ash scares me too when he flops.:)

Here's some pictures of my rabbit Ash

Oooooh I love him, he´s so beautiful and looks really cute.

I love this site as everyone posts often and there´s loads of information. I am also on GB but find that it´s always very quiet and I hate when you post and nobody replies so I´m so pleased to have found everybody here.

I try and give them as much time as possible free to run about and try for a minimum per day of 2-3 hours as if they don´t get this, I feel really guilty and they do really need it to be happy bunnies.

Does Ash live on his own, he looks like a happy bunny and I bet he´s really spoiled.

Yes, they do love banana and pears but I try not to give them it very often as I know it´s not great for them....let´s face it, they don´t eat bananas in the wild :biggrin2:

Hope to see some more of Ash on here.

:happyrabbit:

He is an American Chinchilla rabbit. :)

I love this site too. I am not on any other forums so I don't know the differences.

A minimum of 2-3 hours a day of exercise is great!:)

Yes he does live on his own. Although I am planning on getting him a bunny companion sometime soon, the more bunnies the merrier! And yes he is a spoiled bun. Everyone wants to feed him treats when they see him. :)

Ooo, I have never given Ash pears I bet he would love them. Next time I shop I'll buy him one.

You'll see more of Ash on here. I'm hoping to see more of your trio too. :)

Ash is such a lovely colour and a very pretty boy.

I try and give mine as much exercise as I can as they love been out in the house and chasing each other, at least, for a little while. A lot of the time they just like resting or sleeping. Favourite place is on the rug just in the window, they love it when the sun shines.

I´m really enjoying this forum as people are really interested in other members and their bunnies and I´ve loved getting to know and to see all the photos over the last few days. Looks like everyone is like me, I take so many photos of them but just can´t help it, they do such silly things sometimes which really make me laugh. I´m sure all buns are the same.

Hope you manage to find him his little wifey bun, I´m sure he´d love some company.

And I´m sure he´d love a pear. Mine love bananas above everything else but they also enjoy pears and apples. I tried them with strawberries in the summer but they weren´t keen. However, the first time I gave them banana, they weren´t interested so i´ll have another go when they´re in season again.

Can´t wait to see more photos of Ash.
