Hello from Scotland - bonding

Hey folks, we've finally begun to bond our pair of fluffy little buggers, and so far things seem to be ok-ish.

We got Misty 15 months ago, and blue 6 months ago. Misty was neutered as soon as she was ready, and blue had his bits chopped 8 weeks ago (he was a late bloomer).

I'm just confused as to whether or not they are bonded/bonding/frenemies/enemies. Blue is a pathetic little thing and seems to get bullied by misty, but once the abuse is over the have started flopping and grooming each other. It's just odd.

Any thoughts, help, opinions and anecdotes would be helpful.
