My name is Janice I'm from Puerto Rico, I'm a new bunny mom :) Sasha is my second daughter, her bigger sister is a human child called Sophitia ^_^ Who is 5. I'm obviously the primary care provider for the bun, and my daughter enjoys watching her hop around the house :)

I got Sasha from a pet store, it was a planned buy, but not from that store. I had planned on getting a bun from a better store but they weren't expecting kits from their local breeders any time soon and had no idea when they'd get some! I *think* she's a ND (according to your key!), or perhaps a mix of that breed. She's "around" 2 months old. And it's still a debate if she's a girl, vet says he's sorta sure!

Where I'm from shelters and such don't really exist, so I didn't have the option to adopt, and people usually just have dogs and cats, so even adopting from someone else wasn't an option!

I live in my parent's second home while going to college and I was allowed an indoor pet. That wasn't a dog. I'm not a cat person, so I did my research and got a bun ^_^ I'm no where near an expert though, I know a lot about dogs but am completely new to bunnies, which is why I'm here! Any guides I should read? Good links? Etc etc <3

Thanks! And yeah I was looking for pics and such I'm pretty sure its either a ND or a mix of that breed ^_^ Super hyper and friendly, loves to groom us hehe

awwwwwww, super cute and tiny! welcome to the forum.

what i do when i am curious to read about something is type key words in the search bar for the forum and all related posts will appear! eg, nutrition. or vaccination. or what to feed ....etc
this forum is packed full of excellent information and advice.

again WELCOME TO THE FORUM

Hello there and welcome, whatever breed she is, she's very cute :) Looks a little younger than 2 months, maybe 5-6 weeks in my eyes, but I'm not expert on aging bunnies.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! ^_^ Great idea about the key words, that way I don't spam the forum with questions that probably have been answered a million times hehe

And Azerane, I was actually thinking the same thing! She already went to the vet because she got conjuntivitis on the 6th day she was here, but he was so busy (squeezed me in as a walk in) I didn't get a chance to ask how old he thought she was! I called for a well bunny appointment next month ^_^ Perhaps I'll get some light on that question!

I might post another pic soon, planning on getting a second bunny :3 Just wanted to know if this one was a girl/boy by a vet (since the clerk didn't seem to know what they were doing hehe), vet taught me how to look so now I can shop properly for another female. They'll be both spayed at 6 months old, but I wanted a female because vet told me they can breed from as young as 4 months and he doesn't like to spay at that age :x

Welcome! I'm from PR too, but now live in Florida. The bunny is super cute! But like Azerane said, i think it might be younger. I got a 2 month old and it looks bigger, but i'm not an expert, LOL..
