Hi! I'm new here. By boyfriend and I just got a mini lop, and suddenly we realized we know nothing about bunnies. I studied rat behavior when I was in college (for Psychology), but that's not really helping, because bunnies aren't really the same.

I thought a simple google search or browse through the local bookstore would solve my problems, but there doesn't seem to be a solid resource to answer my questions.

This became a problem when we discovered she has E. cuniculi and she hit puberty at the same time.

So, here I am, trying to learn as much about bunny behavior as I can so she can communicate with me better, and I can respond better to her needs.

I'm really glad this forum exists! I see there is a lot to learn!

Glad you found your way here! This is probably THE BEST place to come to learn about rabbits & find helpful members to share their knowledge & experience! I too consider myself new to bunnies still. I've had my girls for less than a year so I feel I am just beginning my bunny education! lol Please feel free to ask questions here our members always step up with helpful answers as they can from their personal knowledge & experience! There certainly are meds that are sometimes effective in treating it, which I believe your vet has you giving to your rabbit, but there isn't necessarily a cure. Is there someone claiming this? If so, what are they saying?
