I recently brought home a 10 week old Rex. I had planned on keeping him outdoors but with 100 degree days I brought him in. Now I just don't have the heart to put him back out, so I guess I have a house rabbit. He already comes hopping when he sees me. He stays in his cage at night. During the day he had full run of our bathroom, however he started chewing on our baseboard so I got a x-pen for him to save our house. He is the sweetest little bunny, and I look forward to learning lots on this forum.

Welcome to the forum. I am so glad that you made him into a house bunny. Our bunnies have always been inside rabbits. Personally I think when they are underfoot, they tend to get a little more attention. Just my opinion. Looking forward to photos.

Congrats and welcome to RO
Glad that you made him a house bun. Our Dilly has never been outside.
Oh yes, they love to chew on anything that they can get their teeth on.

Welcome. An xpen certainly is a good idea, to protect him AND the house. Rabbits start having problems when it's in the mid-80s, so I'm glad he's inside. Once it's cooler, you could have him outside now & then. He'll enjoy the change & sunlight will be good for him.

Welcome to the Forum! Good for you for making him a house bunny. Since rabbits are social, I'm sure he'll enjoy being closer to you! Not to mention he won't melt in the staggering heat.

Can't wait to see pictures!

Here he is next to the wall he started chewing!:X

This is not allowing me to post mulitple pictures in one post. If I use the "G", it only brings up an "X". I am having to copy and paste one at a time.

Brody is a cutie! Welcome to the forum.

I guess you see our bias for indoor bunnies ;)(though we do have members with outdoor buns).

I've also always kept mine indoors. It gets way too hot here anyway. I'm sure I wouldn't know my bunnies well if I didn't have them out and about with me all day long.
