Hello,
Im a little new here. I actually started posting a few days ago over at Rabbits United (the uk site) because I was in a bit of a panic and wanted some help as soon as I could while I waited for the vet visit. I will try not to be too depressing in my first post on this forum but my husband and I ended up having to put one of our bunnies down this morning due to a tumor that had developed in her lungs. I figure that if I can be around more people who share the same love for rabbits that I do, it will keep my spirits high and my mind on the positive things.
As the title says, I am from Long Island and I live with my husband out here near the beach. We are the proud caretakers of normally a pair of holland lops and hope to one day begin to show and possibly breed them in the near future. I would also love to meet some more people out here that have rabbits!!

Tyke is our newest. Tiny, full of spunk and all around always adorable!
Cuddles, almost 10 years old. She was an amazingly affectionate rabbit. Followed my husband around whenever he was home, always there to cheer him up. I will have to upload some older pics of her but here is one from last night while she was resting with him.
And last but not least, Doofus, my first rabbit and always my baby. He was always there to make me smile and keep me company. I had him for 11 of the best years of my life.
