Hello from LA :0)

Hi guys have just got booked into my hotel, in LA am soooo tired as i have now been up more than 24 hours, jsut about to get showered and go meet for drinks.

Lovely place and country just thought i would check in on my travels, i have a free day tomorrow so i guess its shopping time:biggrin2:

I am SO not a city girl. I was in Beaumont, Cali, just last week and I had 8 hours to myself to do as I wished. I have a friend that goes to college in LA and I wanted to meet him for lunch so I started driving that way and the closer I got the more nervous I became :shock:. I ended up just watching a movie by myself outside of LA because I couldn't bring up the courage to continue on. I shopped at an outlette mall out there but it's a few hours away from you. Have fun!

OMG, I forgot bunfest is this weekend... I'm going to be in San Diego for my cousin's baby's birthday, but I think we're coming back Saturday night. I'll have to check. Not to mention my family'd be like, you want to go WHERE? lol

I'm here till friday then go to Vegas and fly home sunday afternoon have taken some pics and will try to get more cause most are of shops and stuff and a couple out of my hotel roomThink we are going to sunset strip tonight

Let us know what you think of LA. I've never been quite sure as to what people see in LA, at least, as far as to visit and do touristy stuff. Except, maybe to admire our smog layer.

the shopping is great about half the price of the uk. and we went to sunset strip last night then to a bar at a fancy hotel forgot the name thoughit will come back to me it was nice. Def. the shopping for me shame its decided to cool down a bit though. I'm not really bothered about celebs so thats not an issue, i want to try and get down to the pier though i only have tomorrow afternoon and fri morning left.

Hi guys i am back

It was the Sky bar we went to it was lovely. I enjoyed LA more than Vegasd but we didn't get very long in vegas. I got home about 5pm today am shattered didn't sleep to much for the whole week. I have come back skint though:biggrin2:shopping was amazing i would love to come back over to LA and maybe meet you Rosie, i'm sorry we never got chance to meet up I was so bummed that we had to leave and i couldn't go to Bunfesti would have loved that but i don't think Bruce would have been had to settle for buying a toy bunny from pottery barn instead, i think i was having withdrawls lol.

There was so much in LA i wanted to do but didn't get time to, i really wanted to do the pier, and be a bit touristy and see the hollywood sign and i never got to see many of the stars on the sidewalk. (nearly got odne for jaywalking a few times lol) i got out of the car here and couldnt remember what side the traffic was coming from lol.

I would have loved to have met up though and got to do a LA day with someone who knows it well.

Vegas was huge lol everything is tiny over hereamazing to see i would have loved to have gone and seen Phantom of the opera at the venetian but we really only had 1 full day! you can't see anything in Vegas in that time, got a gondola ride and did lots of shopping!!

I got some pics i maight put some on my blog but some might bore you as we were on business so we went to Dermalogica's head office in LA but i was happy cause i got my piccie taken with Jane Wurwand the founder so i am going to put it up in my salon

Sorry for rambling but it was great and my first ever trip to America so i was pretty psyched:biggrin2:

YAY!! I'm so happy to hear that you had a really nice time. Next time you'll have to plan a trip that's a couple weeks long, so we can just hang out for a day, or something. We would be MORE than happy to drive you around to all the sights you wanted to see, too!

It's totally fine that we weren't able to meet up. We had such a hectic time at my dad's, so we just wouldn't have been able to...but I'm happy that you had a fun trip!

Next time, I promise...lunch, a day with the LA sights, and maybe a DRIVE over to Vegas, so you can see the desert, and driving around to the Vegas sights.
