Though I am new to the forum, I am not with rabbits :)

I have owned a broken opal holland lop when I was 14. With school, clubs after school, homework and stuff. He didn't get the attention he needed, so I rehomed him.

About 5 years ago, I owned a cinnamon velveteen rex rabbit, a solid lynx holland lop and a broken black mini rex. Sadly though, we had to move and couldn't afford to bring them along. So we rehomed them.

Now, I haven't got any at the moment. But will soon! I am getting 1 or 2 females for myself for my birthday. I plan on getting them here in a few weeks.
In the mean time, I am going to build a cage for them and get things set and ready :)

I already have names picked out. Juno and Charlie (hence the JC lol)

Normally I wouldn't pick a name before seeing/getting a animal. But I really like those names :D

Anyway, just wanted to get the introdution done. I will post pictures of them when I get them :)

Welcome to the forum and I look forward to seeing photos of your new future babies when you get them and post them! You could start a blog on all the prep work that you are doing for your new additions if you wanted to!

Welcome aboard and I'm looking forward to hearing more from you!

Vanessa

Hi and welcome!

Those are fabulous names! Do you know what kind of breed(s) you want or are you just excited to have a bun in your life again?

I can't wait to hear and see these bunnies!

:brownbunny

Thank you! :)

I may start that blog, its a great idea :) We are just waiting on our taxes to come in, so I can get all the materials I need.

I have no idea on the breed I will be getting. I am just happy to have some buns in my life again. I've been planning on this since last summer. I just had to wait till the right time.
Our roommates are going to be moving out, either before or after the I get the bunnies. Once they do, the bunnies will have their own room :)

Wow you have much more patience then I would have had! I look forward to reading your blog and seeing lots of pictures! They sound like they're gonna be lucky buns :)

I have no patience lol Only thing keeping me from begging my husband constantly is loving my cats and dog :) and of course just waiting till the right time :waiting:

I'm anxious though now lol Time is getting closer I am ready to get started. I keep checking the bank constantly waiting on it to hit (though I know its to early lol)

Haha yeah :)

I'm hoping it hits this week, but probably won't be till next (fingers crossed!) Untill then, I have begun the process of looking for them. Searching through ad's, breeders and such.
It's very frustrating here. I am in such a small town. Not many rabbit breeders around me. I have to drive a bit to one, but it will be worth it for the right buns :happyrabbit:

Oh that's a shame about being so far away. Guessing there aren't many shelters that would have rabbits either. You're getting me impatient to see these buns now hehe!

There's only one shelter in this town (that I know of, haven't seen any other) As far as I know, they only have dogs and cats. I will check there before I make any final decision on some random ad or a breeder. I would rather rescue if I could.

It bites being in a small town lol Our pet stores is wal-mart and tractor supply. To get to petsmart or anything else for the good stuff, I have to drive at least an hour away -_- Guess its a good thing my car is alright on gas lol

psshh, I'm getting impatient lol My husband is starting to get annoyed with me talking about rabbits this and rabbits that :)

Oh that's a real shame, yeah my parents live in the middle of nowhere (English countryside) they don't even have a village shop! So it was a real chore trying to get pet supplied when I was younger haha. Living in Sheffield is great because I have the benefits of the city, with a 5 minute drive and you're back in the countryside!

I buy a heck of a lot of my supplies from Amazon! I'm sure the American one would be even better, they even sell hay and treats plus I find it cheaper than the pet stores. This is just me being lazy though, why drive all the way to petsathome when I can just click here!

Oh I know what you mean, my partner gets a little tired about me talking rabbits all the time! He's in Singapore at the minute so every time we Skype it's "Dog did this! Dope did that! Naughty munchkins!" haha I think he secretly loves it, I caught him taking pictures of them before he left, I bet he misses them!

Haha he probably does :) Mine is the same, he will never admit he loves the animals, but I know better lol

I havent looked to see how much it would be to order off amazon yet, it probably is cheaper though. I just hate waiting for the stuff to arrive lol

Same! I'm so impatient (waiting right now for a new bunny bed and food bowls haha) the Prime trial is fab though, free next day delivery? Why thank you!
