hey everyone!
just wanted to introduce myself and my bun, peanut. she is a one month old (estimated, the pet store staff don't know much.. as usual..) dwarf rabbit.

i'm new with the whole, owning a rabbit thing.

any advice?

thanks so much!

Hi Erin,

Welcome to the forum.

If your bun is one month old then she isn't really old enough to be away from mum, so that might make things harder for her and you in the present and future.

My best advice is to get reading. Read the Bunny 101 forum and the health section, and ask any questions you feel you need to :)

Owning a bunny is hard and so the more you can learn, the better.

I look forward to seeing you around and hearing more about Peanut. :)

Take care

Tracy

Welcome to RO forums,Erin.
This is a great place to learn all about rabbits, and the people are GREAT at helping and pointing you in the right direction.
Looking forward to seeing pics of your bunny.
4 weeks old is very young to be separated from mom, make sure she has plenty of hay and a good quality pellet. I add a pinch of oats (as in Old fashioned Quaker, not instant or quick) to my bunnnies pellets - they LOVE it, just make sure she's eating her pellets too, lol.

Welcome to the forum! Nethies are quite the characters and they don't know they are the smallest breed of rabbit.

You have found a great website for rabbits and it is very active. Posta question and there is someone up in the world that will see it and answer. We have a lot of experienced members and everyone is friendly and helpful.

I look forward to seeing pictures of your bun and hearing about your life as a bunny slave.
