Hello fellow forum members! This is my intro thread but I am not quite sure what I am supposed to tell you! My name is Mary, I am a youngish woman who recently relocated from my hometown in Atlanta, GA to Knoxville, TN for love. Aside from my new bunny, I am also owned by two wonderful young adult male cats named Spooky and Mulder who are just great!
On to the topic you probably want to know about! I just adopted my 'first' bunny today! My family had a rex named Lucky when I was young so I am roughly familiar with rabbit care, but have never been the sole caretaker of one until today! My new baby was adopted from a home where he had been purchased on a whim for a youngster, was kept in less than perfect conditions and didn't even have a name!
I have remedied that immediately of course, his name as of this evening is Harvex but we will see if that fits him as I get to know his personality better. He is an approximately 6 month old black and white spotted male who was sold to his previous owner as a lionhead (but he doesn't have much mane?). This is the picture provided by the person I got him from, I do not yet want to bother him with a camera while he is settling in!
I hope to get to know everyone here soon!
Mary
