Well I'm not really new here as I was active a few years ago but got out of having bunnies for awhile due to life. Well recent events changed that a couple weeks ago my family discovered that someone had let some domesticated rabbits loose in the area ( there are 3 that we know of). From taking with different people we know they have been running loose since last fall. Not sure how they managed to survive the frigid Michigan winter but they did. So we set up trying to catch them. We've managed to catch one of them so far and he's very friendly and not afraid of people at all( well now that we caught him). We've decided we are going to keep him. So guess I'm back in the business of having bunnies again as we have every intention of trying to catch the other two as well. Just makes me so mad that people do stupid crud like this and think they will survive.

"Deja vu all over again". More than 15 years ago, just came home from the vet with a shelter rescue and there was a bunny on my front lawn. Very friendly and came right over to me and let me pick her up. What is wrong with people?
