Hello,

Just joined, not new to forums. I have two bunnies, approx 3-4 months old. Have not named them yet cause I dont know the sex yet. But I would assume one is male and one is female, cause over the last couple of weeks I would hear a racket and welll you know the rest LOL... Buthereis how I came to getting these guys. One day I go into the pet store to get crickets for my Beardie, and what do i see. These two cute bunnies huddled together, same color (white with w/ black patches) One has a lighter black, thats how I tell them apart. But anyway out I come with these two bunnies..... Caus I could not just take one....

Hi Weezer,

Welcome to RO.

Be careful if one is female and one male you could be expecting BABIES.

I would get them to Vets asap, and or at least separate them until you know the sex of them.

Your picture didn't show up. I use Photobucket.com (it's free) then copy & paste the IMG code to RO.

Susan:)

Thanks,

That's OK I already have takers if I should become a daddy LOL I also just posted about a couple of issues in the behavioral thread

Welcome to the forum. But I think you should learn more about rabbits before breeding them. Even though you could find homes for any babies, it just means that some rabbits in shelters won't be getting homes.

Trust Me Im in no rush in breeding them. I am doing research on both here and Google on breeding and the general care of rabbits.Like I said its been a while since I have owned rabbits,I grew up owning all sorts of pets... But rest assured I would never let anything bad happen to unwanted animals. I know all to well about shelters ETC. That seems to my problem when I go into pet stores.Like when I saw these little guys huddled together, there was no way I could split them up.Especially when I saw that they most likely came from the same litter.Usally every two days no more than three I clean out their cage and as I am doing so I put them into a play pen so the get exercise and can romp around. But thanks again for the advise.....

*To brag or tell everyone about the antics of your bunny or just to talk about your day here is where to start a Bunny Blog, you can also look back at it later and remember when you had a life before your bunny.

*Now all the bunny’s like talk to each other when we mere slaves aren’t around in the Bunny Chat is the spot to be.

*The House Rabbit Society has a lot of good information on what veggies are safe for bunny’s, etc.

The Let Your Hare Down section is for anything non-bunny related.

Here is a link tothat will help you and your bunny to connect, How to Bond with Your Bunny.

Now every forum has rules and ours can be found with this link Rabbits Online Forum Rules. This gives guidelines on what is acceptable, what is not and how we hope everyone will treat each other.

Everyone on this forum loves to see pictures of each other’s bunnies. So if you would like to post a picture this link will help you do that, Upload Photo's to Photo Gallery. Then in the post, you click on the "G" in the tool bar to insert your photo. Many people also use Photobucket. You just copy the img file and paste it into the post.
