I just read the thread about Gus and his weight and instead of stealing that thread I started a new one.
I'm honestly not sure how to tell if a rabbit is a healthy weight. Lulu is probably due for another vet check soonish, but to be honest its 80+ dollars for a vet just to see her. I try to avoid taking her unless there actually seems to be a problem.
So anyway, I dont know if shes a good weight. When I got her she was a little thin. She has bulked up a little, but now shes looking very...circular. Its hard to tell with her, because her shoulders are really thin but her backside is quite large. I know the general rule that you should be able to feel but not see their spine.
Does anyone have any tips? I'm going to post some pictures, but every picture I have of her makes her look like a soccer ball with mane...She sits is a very squished up way.
