headphones

ok so i put my headphones in and i turned on my ipod touch to listen to music.i didnt know the volume was all the way on. i pressed play ands it was so loud because it was on all the way. i took them off and now my ears hurt.

has this happened to anyone? did any effects or anythibg happen?

it lasted for like 3-4 seconds before i took out my headphones.

It would take more than an ipod to make your ears bleed. You may have a little temporary loss but it sounds like you acted fast enough to do no long term damage. It is possible to ruin your hearing if played long time and too loud.
