If anyone else will be at the show today, look for the older woman that looks pregnant with twins...that'll be me! LOL I'm usually hanging out with the Flems or the Frenchie tables.
That's a nice way to describe yourself. lol. A little harsh on yourself. If anyone else will be at the show today, look for the older woman that looks pregnant with twins...that'll be me! LOL I'm usually hanging out with the Flems or the Frenchie tables.
Thanks, guys, but I didn't show. I wasn't even sure until last night that I was going, because I had 3 Cal does that (if the stud wasn't a dud) should have given birth today and tomorrow. And it was a pre-entry show only. :-(
K, I wasn't being harsh, I was being honest. I have 2 hernias that need operated on, making me appear as if I'm due to deliver at least twins at any minute. LOL
Geez, so sorry. Now I know what you mean by "live and learn". I hate people who take advantage of others. Sorry to hear about your Cals.I'm really upset with the whole Cal thing. I had bought the buck from the first "live and learn" breeder. I had bought our first 4 rabbits from her. The one had snuffles/allergies, one is Ad (with the tail carried off center...this was a test breeding to see if she had injured it or if it's genetic..and my mistake trusting her when she said she was show quality and I didn't know any better). Now I think she sold the buck because he was sterile. Out of the three he covered in a few days, not one is pregnant. The one doe I was pretty sure caught, but apparently she just needs a diet now. LOL
The one doesn't bother me at all (it's in the middle of my stomach), but the other one is a killer. It's so big that the upper part of my stomach is up through it, and stays there. So LOTS of heartburn, always. I was born with that one, but the other came from lifting heavy things (worked at WalMart for 2 years...overnight stocking and then dairy/frozen). I'll get them fixed, but haven't found a time when I could be laid up for a while.
