So as the title said, I have noticed a slight tilt in my rabbits head. It isn't much so far, you have to look to see it and I just noticed it yesterday. His behavior is normal as well, he's as happy and active as he's always been. I read online that it can sometimes be an infection in the ear so I checked that too and didn't find any inflammation. Regardless, I'm taking him to the vet as soon as possible, but are there any other factors I should look at or tell the vet during the visit?

An ear infection is one thing that causes head tilt, another thing is E. cuniculi which is a protozoal infection that is really common. In the UK some people believe as many as 80% of rabbits carry it. The protozoa can be carried with no symptoms, or it can travel to the spine and cause head tilt or in other parts of the body paralysis. There is a titre test for it. The treatment is Panacur active ingredient fenbendazole for 28 days and sometimes repeat. Panacur is supposed to be safe and some people treat yearly as a preventative if they keep lots of rabbits.

Sounds like that could be the case from what you're saying. Is there any immediate urgency with E. cuniculi then?
