he is just so pretty

so i need some ideas.

let me introduce dante. a cute little bird that i have no idea what he is, but he is very pretty.

dante is a wild bird. he happends to love his appearnce so much that for the past 3 weeks he has spent sunrise to sunset flying into the big picture window in my living room.

we have tried windsocks, window clings, rubber snakes, and all manners of things to make him stop. all have failed. its no so much that i am getting annoyed by the constant "Thunk!" on the window (although i am reaching my limit) but the poor bird has to be causing brain damage at least. he flies full force into the window. over and over again. all day long.

so anyone know how to get little mr. dante to leave the window alone? i have a marked up window, a headache, and bird poo on my front porch. its time for dante to leave and i cant get him to go!

advise would be nice. im at a loss

Is it a cardinal? They are well known for window strikes. We had one we put up with for almost three months. Nothing worked. I'm not going to say how we finally resolved the situation.
