Ok, I got Ripley this 'Nut-Knot-Nibbler' toy I think its called. Inside there's a {I think} hazelnut. It is ok if he get all the wood chewed open and reached the hazelnut (or whatever it is?)

Here's a pic of him and the toy in case any of you have had one for your bunny, you'll know what toy I'm talking about. (Sorry about bad quality pic..it was on my old bad camera)

I think I know what toy you are talking about.

That is a walnut inside, and I would take the walnut away as soon as he gets to it. I have heard it is a fake walnut, but I have also heard it is real. I have no idea, but I would definitely not let him have it. (I think the toy will be fine, just not the walnut.)

It is a real walnut and I would take it out when you can. Not sure if the nut is good or not for the Bunny but........

Smudge has one of those, so I took a paring knife and pried open the nut and it was all rotten inside.

I managed to cut it all out using the paring knife leaving all the wooden bits in tact. Smudge chews on it all the time.

ok, thanks for letting me know! I'll take it out then. Its totally his favorite toy-he loves loves LOVES throwing it around his cage. (though he'll proably be disappointed once the nut it gone out of it..)
