Hazelnuts?

Can bunnies have hazelnuts? We went hazelnut picking yesterday and have a ton, thought they might be a nice treat if they are allowed them.

I don't think it's good to give bunnies nuts of any kind. They don't digest them very well, and many are much more toxic to rabbits than people.

Hazelnut leaves are safe, I've found on some sites.
