She has a black tail, and just those white spots on her nose, chest and her right front paw. She's about 4 mos, will be 5 mos on the 7th, :). She's about 1.5 lbs, maybe 2 now, I haven't weighed her recently because I'm on break at my parent's house and they don't have a good scale, >.< She looks like she's some kind of variation of an American Sable, but seems too small for that. She's also at that akward stage where her head looks too small for her body, :roflmao:, it's quite a funny sight sometimes. She also has albino-y eyes. They're not red looking normally, but when she's in the light, you can see the red tint.

This is Flopsy:

And you can also see her in one of the pics of Hazel. She has a wild rabbit type coat with white eyes liner around her eyes and little bitty black tips on her ears. She very much has he white cottontail and her white starts on her chest and goes to her tail. She has normal eyes. She's about 2.5 lbs, again, I believe, she could be 2 or maybe even 3 now. She's in her teenage period, at 6 mos, 7 mos on the 25th. She's a little bratty sometimes, but she's a lover too and I <3 her.

Hazel and Flops are bonded, :bunnyhug:, and are super cute together, :)

I was just wondering if people could help me figure out what they are. Doesn't really matter, I was just wondering, unless of course there are some breed specifics, like health issues, I would need to know about.

Thanks! :D

Hazel: The white on her nose I believe would make her vienna marked, I would only be guessing but I think she's like a sable nethie and dutch cross - that's just a guess tho :)

Flopsy: No clue but she's probably colored chestnut agouti - when you blow into her fur are there like rings of color?

They are both gorgeous - I'm sure there are a couple of others who can get a better idea for you.

Flopsy has a pretty head.....

Thanks so much!

Flopsy says thank you for the comment on her head, but she's mad at you because I blew into her fur, and she HATED it, haha. I got a thump when she got put down, :(. She DOES have rings of color when I blow into her fur though.

Hazel says thank you for the gorgeous comment, she likes to think so... :bunnydance: She's terribly vain, :p

Those rings of color (which I pretty much knew you'd find with her coloring) is the "agouti" thing. I have a caster agouti mini-rex (neutered male) and I have a chestnut agouti cottontail (doe) I rescued. We also have a big golden Palomino buck.

Here's a great site for colors. One of our own Sr. Mods here created it. She might be able to help you with breeds also.

Coat Colors of Domestic Rabbits

Flopsy says if you knew she'd find it, why'd you tell her to do it??

She's a little testy, teenage period and all, :p

She also thinks your Bo looks quite cute in his stable, she thinks it looks like a lot of fun!

Thanks for the help! :) That website is really cool! Hopefully she comes to look at my bunnies and can give me an even better idea, :) Not that you weren't helpful! You definitely were, but it's always good to get a lot of opinions, haha.

Btw, do you know if there are any breed specific problems? Also, I've heard so many different opinions, just wondering what you know, when will they be full-grown?

Thanks! :D

[align=left]Sables have a ruby glow to their eye, I have a Mini Rex buck thats sable, and your girls little bit of white means she's slightly white factored. She looks mostly ND. The second one is an agouti, its called chestnut, castor, sandy, depends on the breed and she could be anything. Cute bunnies!!

Thanks! :) Btw, I read that rabbits with ruby eyes sway to focus their sight, have you noticed this behavior? Her ears checked out fine and she's perfectly healthy and has been doing it since I got her, so I always wondered until I found the article about the ruby eyes. I just hope it's right!

I'm getting better at this :)

YES! rabbits with red or blue eyes can "scan" to see better. Infact, I think all of them can do it but those are the most common.
