I just love the haystache...and hopefully with the mom and babies inside there won't be any trouble (she had her first and only litter in the barn, on the wire, over the summer).

YAY!!! I'm not sure if our other two does caught yet or not. And, like an idiot, I didn't put it in Evans the day I bred them because he never fell off of any of them. Now it's a guessing game. :(

Me, too! He fell off of her when he bred her last time...this time, nothing. But that does explain why Bella was trying to rip him a new one a few weeks ago, when I tried re-breeding them. LOL

We have babies!! 4 (I think), and it looks like 3 blacks and a blue. I didn't mess with the nest too much, although she didn't seem to care. I'll dig around the cage later, making sure there aren't any dead ones anywhere, and get pictures of the new ones. I'm just excited to finally, after months of trying and waiting, have Polish babies. So far she seems like she's being a good mom...a little stingy with the hair, but maybe it's because we're in a very heated room as opposed to in a cold barn?
