Okay so Ive checked every where near me but not one place has a hay rack! Any ideas or pics of a homemade one or how much it costs at a place tht MIGHT have them?? Thanks!

Ashley

I couldn't find one in my area either, I guess since I don't have many pet stores near me. So I stuffed an old tissue box with hay and hid some lavender in there so he would be more inclined to eat the hay. :) My rabbit doesn't like to chew cardboard so I'm not worried about the dye in the tissue box, but they sell tissue boxes at the natural food store if your concerned about that...

Do you have an Ikea and or a Home Depot in your area?

Go check in the storage unit section. I bought mine there. Also have you thought of putting a big bowl of hay in their cage instead or just put the hay in their litter box.

Susan:)

I have a litter box but it has wiring over the top so he can't it any hay inside it... and what i used to do is put hay in a toilet paper roll but that was to messy and ended up mostly going on my floor not in his mouth! :p

I bent a NIC panel into a U shape and attached it to the side of his NIC cage with clips.

But I've also seen tons of good "hay racks" at IKEA. Different sizes and shapes, lots of pick from. They also have good wicker/grass chew toys.
