we had a toy hanging on a tightly wound thin rope(came with the chew toy) and he ate the rope. he seems fine, but willthat hurt him??:?

keep a close eye on your bun and make sure thereis free hay available all the time. if you notice him stopeating and pooping, i'd take him to the vet asap to make sure thestring hasnt caused a blockage.

the string wont cause a block, it'll pass throughvery easily because they're able to break it down properly if they'reeating it. plus their diets should be very high in fiber. i noticedmine love chewing on string too. they used to love chewing on paper andphone books and then they started chewing on string and cardboard so ibring them string and cardboard.

most of the time, they aren't eating it.. they're just chewing

I hang a piece of string for Pebbles to playwith. She doesn't eat it but spends alot of time pulling onit and reaching up for it. It's a natural reactionfor them.

As you see a piece of the string lays on the floor, uneaten.

Rainbows! :)

mine stops chewing string andlikesnibbling telephone wires and stuff now :p so ilost quite a few of them :p

thanks, chocolate seems fine now, it's been 3days since the string incident, i think if he were going to have aproblem it would have happened by now, i was so scared that somethingwould happen, love that little bun:)
