So I know this is my fault, and frankly I'm over it I guess. But a few weeks ago my rabbits broke all three of my chargers (ipod, iPhone, and mac) so in total it cost around 120$ to get a replacement. And just today one of my rabbits peed on my ipod and it is completely dead. The good thing is, I backed up MOST of my photos on my mac, it was old (kind of I got it like 2 years ago after I lost my first ipod touch on a bus). That's about it. Of course, all my music (had nearly 900 and was going to transfer the songs I like onto my phone however I never got the chance), NOTES (I can not tell you how much the notes I had on my ipod meant to me, I had important information written on there), some of my photos, and various things on apps and such are all gone. I don't think I'm going to get another ipod, I specifically like the 3rd gen because it lacks a camera. Sigh. I know this is my fault, luckily I'm getting over it.

Did your rabbits ever destroy anything valuable?

they PEED on your ipod??? SHEESH!

mine ate open 1-2'' of the seam on my air mattress on christmas eve >.>

YES, my male has a tendency to pee on my bed but ever since I got my younger bunny he hasn't been interested on going on my bed, so I thought oh, I guess it would be fine to leave my ipod and computer on my bed. Cause he was just relaxing on the ground with the other bunny. I come back like 15 minutes later to do things on my ipod and I found that he peed on it. I am VERY thankful he didn't pee on my computer. But still -_-

And oh wow, that's frustrating! On Christmas Eve too! Sigh bunnies always get into trouble when we aren't looking!

I've had many book spines nibbled on, also a balsa wood airplane model my husband was working on, and a waterbed cord (those last 2 were when we had someone bunny sitting for us). I can't think of anything as costly as what you've had ruined.

Mookie ruined 2 of my iphone iPod cord things when they were on my bedside table.. Lucky for me they are only like $5 to replace.. The next one I got was green and not white and she has never touched it again.
That sucks about your iPod... I'm the same .. All the stuff on my phone I wouldn't know what to do if I lost it!

My girl goes straight for the phone charger we have plugged in by our bed, not sure how many she has eaten but there was a point where I had to go out and buy one immediately because she had chewed through all our backups. We keep her out of our room but because she knows its forbidden she runs for it every time we open the door!
When we first got her she chewed through the HDMI cable for our tv and two of the playstation cables when she got out of her cage one night. Besides that Bambi has chewed on every book on the bottom shelf.
They are just so quick with their nibbles you don't even notice till that have ruined something!

Hmmm.... well, I've learned to keep everything out of reach but Peter pretty much ate every cord there was and also my mothers carpet, baseboards and door which I had to replace before I moved out. He also ate most of his hutch (which was expected, but cost me $180). Unfortunately, it's a buns life.

Sorry about the ipod!

Mine have trashed my sofa cushions and covers, countless cords and chargers to phones, laptops, vacuums, ipods, etc. the screen out of the door to get in the house, chewed the rubber thread off the wheels on 3 vacuums, eaten all my brooms and destroyed an area of tile where one continues to pee ... she pees around the box. I don't know why.

When I first got Conan he chewed up my hdmi cable for the TV. I thought I had that section cut off pretty well but I was obviously mistaken. Nothing since then really, except my wife keeps on accidently letting him to the one forbidden area of the house our bedroom and only room not bunny proofed. Heh, well she paid for it as he chewed up two of her vac seal bags. Overall though my rabbit hasn't been very destructive.

Bun Foo chewed up three phone chargers in two months. Thats about it, she never really went after another cord after that. She never chewed anything else either. She was so good.
Sorry about your iPod.

Shame about the ipod but mine have gotten through so many things I've lost count. Snowy chewed through the TV cable when it was switched on. I've gone through about 5 chargers for the phone, about as many cables for the normal phone. They've had a go at the computer cord but it's still working (taped up like a patchwork quilt). There's a hole in the back of the sofa, nibbles around the bottom of the china cabinet, the TV aerial cable is nibbled in several places and my cushion covers have fashionable holes around the edges. You can shout at them, jump up and down, tear your hair out and cry like a baby but the best way to stop them chewing is to take temptation out of their way. Luckily, although they've jumped around and even on the computer, they haven't peed on anything important. And you're right that if they've got their eye on something, it only takes a second for those teeth to sever it in half. It's a bunny mummy's life eh :banghead

man, these stories reinforce the feeling that I made the right choice by fencing in my whole living room instead of bunny-proofing my house, lol

Oh yes, I forgot Cleos patch of carpet she chewed and the holes in the couch cushion she made. I hide the damage...

Jennifer, I think you've got the right idea as bunny proofing, although it works some of the time, they have this awful knack of finding something you haven't quite managed to put out of their reach, I've seen my periscope and jump up to reach something. Naughty boys lol.

Mischa has singlehandedly destroyed cords for me. I have lost a phone charger, two microphones, one pair of $200 headphones, two $6 headphones, and other misc. things. So yes, she has destroyed something well worth the cost of an iPod (my $200 headphones). I almost saw red. lol

Ouch, it's painful to hear about all these things that our beloved pet rabbits have destroyed! Thankfully I wasn't the only one who has gotten somethings ruined! I agree, both of my rabbits will try to go into the forbidden area of the house just because it's forbidden -_- when they already have so much space! Argh, rabbits! Good thing they're so cute :)

It has long been my belief that soldering is an essential skill for any bunny owner. Most of the power cords in my house had been soldered back together before I finally got all of them blocked off.

Rabbits are quick, though - I knocked my computer mouse off the table and before I could pick it up, Natasha had severed the cord.

Yes. Books, dug up capet... Wires I've forgotten to protect... The most humorous is probably this doll I found chewed up in DDs room:
