I was just wondering if anyone watched the movie the strangers? what did you think? i watched it this morning and i thought it was ok... my 17 year old daughter watched it last night and it scared her bad.

ok i just watched it last night and it was ok. I mean it ended and i was like ????? there was no follow up , i guess no closure type of thing. Now they say it is based on actual events so i dont know. But it did have the creep factor for me cause they were out in the boonies type of location and that is where i am so i was kind of a little creeped by that. I wasnt scared beyond belief where i couldnt sleep or anything, but i mean it was an ok movie.

I haven't seen it, although I remember from the advert it did look quite freaky!:?

I kind of have a love/hate relationship with horror films. I make myself watch them then scare myself and end up hiding behind a pillow for most of the film. One of my friends made me watch 'The decent' at her house once and I was literally hidden behind a cushion for the large majority of the film!

However, as it's halloween time I feel like I should watch some scary movies to get me in the spirit so one of my friends (who is a massive horror movie fan) sent me her top list:

Carrie
Nightmare on Elm Street
Friday the 13th
The Exorcist
Halloween
Scream (1)
Child's Play
Theatre of Blood
A Clockwork Orange
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Rocky Horror (obv)
Dawn of the Dead (original)
An American Werewolf in London
Poltergeist
Psycho
Gremlins
The Lost Boys

I've already seen scream and loved it (although the opening sequence terrified me!) and I'm about half way through 'Halloween' (as I was watching it before but then my sister kicked me off the telly:grumpy:) but I plan to watch the rest at some point. Luckily I have a couple of friends who love horror films to watch them with meas the majority of people I know hate them!:p

Anyway...sorry for the detour. Once I start chatting I can't really stop!;)

looked it up and the only thing true happened when the writer was a kid some one came up to the door and asked if so and so was home ... then the next morning they found out several homes in his neighborhood were robbed... and they wrote it like a charles manson type thing... I am glad im not the only one who wasn't scared... I thought it was me.i was a little dissapointed in it
