I was on youtube and looking at the hard knock life song and i saw this

i think it is a good song (how they sing it) but it is meant to be sad not happy.
I just think it is not really the right theme for what the song means,

Watch it and you'll see.

It is like they were making fun of it.

I know JayZ the rapper did one, but for the ghetto.

I have to shake my head at videos like that.. as they are smiling and dancing talking about a 'hard knock life'! Kind of ironic and a bit bratty to be singing about a hard knock life being dressed like that and dancing like that.

Whenever I hear that song, I think of Austin Powers and Mini-me.. oh my!

:) It's like they're just singing the words without actually thinking about what they're singing. Whoever came up with the concept for the video didn't seem to get the song - it's kinda contradictory.

I think they could have sung it the same way without making the video so bubble gum and it might have made more sense.

:)

I love Annie, and the cover of the song is good, but the video is hard to reconcile with the song.
