Well... I have flu.

But not flu like a cold that's really bad that you call flu, actual, proper flu.

I've spent most of the day not being able to get out of bed, every time I stand up I get so dizzy I either fall over or have to get straight back down again.

I ACHE soooo badly that I can barely walk- I walk like an old lady! And my temperature is up and down like Chalk is with a staircase. It's the kind of sick where you can't even sleep cos you feel so ill- I just really don't know what to do with myself :(

All this on top of my op a couple of weeks ago that is still bothering me, and the labyrinthitis I've had for the past year that's left me off sick from work since July (supposed to start taking lots of scary sounding medication for it soon...)

ARGH! Why can't I just be well?!! Serves me right for daring to leave the house and go and have some fun for a little while on Tuesday (although I think I'd been getting this since before then)....

:tears2:

Thanks guys

No, I really am not! I....

JUST DELETED A WHOLE POST!! GRRRRRR! :tantrum:

I know that the flu, and the other things aren't serious or life threatening, and the flu will be gone in a few days hopefully, but I just can't help feeling so down about it all. Up until just over a year ago, I was a normal 23 year old, with a full time job I loved, going out with my friends all the time, driving about, etc. Now, I'm at home all day every day, on the verge of losing my job, seem to live at doctors and consultant's offices, rarely out to see my friends and unable to drive.

I guess this flu has just knocked me off my feet so much more and made me think about all these terrible things! Here I go, moaning again! :?

The ONLY good thing that's come out of this is that we now have the bunnies. If it wasn't for me being home all the time, and Steve now working from home most of the time to look after me (and to earn a better wage), we'd never have got them. And if we had never have got them, I'm sure I would be a hell of a lot worse than I am now!

Anyway, moan over... promise! :in tears:
Oh and sorry!

Hey it's O.K. to moan, you've earned it! I'm sorry things have been so rough and you've been feeling so badly :(it's no surprise your spirits are down. I'm so glad you have the buns & they have you. :)

ahhhh bless you, poor darlin' hope you start feelng better soon. I think you deserve a spell of good luck soon after all the misery you have had with feeling poorly.

Maybe you need to go on ebay again and see what bargains you can pick up to cheer yourself up a bit. hehe

Hoping you are better soon!!! xxxxxxxxx

Hi I hope you start to feel better soon. I can relate to you about going to Doctors all the time since my car accidents. It gets frustrating telling the same story over and over again and all the different medications they put you on with so many side affects.

Can I ask a dumb question. What is labyrinthitis?

Susan:)

Lol, course you can! No-one ever knows what it is! :)

It's an inner ear disorder, that can start with a cold/virus or something, that basically damages your balance nerves. You feel off balance, dizzy, the room spins, nausea, vomiting, etc etc. Picture being at sea on a tiny boat in a REALLY bad storm... or picture being REALLY drunk, when the room spins, and you can't co-ordinate your body and movement (but with Labyrinthitis you're sober in your head and perfectly aware of what's going on of course!)... that's about it really- I've had it for a year plus now, and there isn't really much they can do. Although I just saw a neurologist last week who thinks it may be related to migraines given I get headaches too, so he's putting me on some quite heavy anti-migraine meds to see if that helps at all....

Normally when I tell people 'Labyrinthitis' they either make some joke about the film with David Bowie in it, or they say 'oh, that sounds fun!' Well, it's really not lol!

And thanks guys, I really hate seeming like I'm moaning on here but your comments always cheer me up :)

And Amy, I get paid Monday (they're paying me full wage when they shouldn't be for some reason!!) so I'll be straight on eBay lol! :p

well it's pay day today my dear? so hat did you buy hehe? Did you manage to get Steve to take you to Pets at Home. How did the buns do in their first trip to the vets?

that is meant to say pay day today my dear! So what did you by. Not meant to have anything at all to do with hats..Unless you bought a hat?!? :biggrin2:

Lol Amy! I read your correction over and over, and couldn't see what you were correcting, then at the end I couldn't figure out why you were going on about hats at the end lol!! :p

I've not been on Ebay yet- I daren't!! :shock:I'm soooo skint this month, plus got to get SnowBarn vaccinated and Snowy spayed- eek! They did really well on their first trip- Barney was a little jumpy with his injection, but they were sooo good apart from that, and they just wanted cuddles the whole time they were on the table lol :)The vet reckons they're really healthy and on the best diet possible- we're good owners, yay! :D

Did get the buns a toy willow/straw ball though with a bell in it... they love it!

I was feeling a little better earlier but this eve I've been sooo achey, and had a temperature, and been basically flat out asleep on the sofa for a couple of hours... I have hardly any appetite either, which is odd for me- I've not eaten a proper meal in days :?

My mum's a bit worried bless her in case I've got Malaria, cos I went to Sri Lanka in September :scared:But I'm sure it's not that, right.....Right?! That would seriously be JUST my luck lol!! I don't think it's that at all, in my expert medical opinion :pIt's just odd how it comes and goes...

Sorry you are still feeling bad... It is strange how it comes and goes, but from what I know malaria, you'd know you had it. So I don't think it's that, but of course I don't know - but I sure as heck hope it's not - it's awful! Maybe because you haven't been felling well for so long, your body is having a more difficult time fighting off this flu you have.

Regardless - hugs to you. We are thinking about you.

LOL hehe just ignore me I'm a wally hehe.

Aww sorry your still poorly. Have you been to the doctors?

I know the willow/straw ball you mean hehe (is that sad?!?) got one for Jess she munched through it though little madam.
