Hair on his Eyes

Poe is getting clumps of hair on his eyes from shedding. I can manage to get it off sometimes, but what is the best way to do this? If I don't do it, will he get the hair off on his own?

It looks uncomfortable to me!

I am interested to see what people have to say about this too. My rabbits get hair in their eye sometimes and it drives me crazy. It just looks like it would be uncomfortable. I usually try to get them to blink more to work it's way out.

I massage Evie's eyes through her eyelid to wiggle the little disc of hair closer to the front corners of her eyes... seems to make it easier to get off without driving her nuts.
