Here is the wicked mess of hair I have right now. I love it, but it is such a huge pain in the butt to take care of. It takes me fifteen minutes to just get all the knots out. Plus, the bottom half is pretty fried from all the abuse over the years.

This is what I am thinking about doing:

Thoughts?

You have the most beautiful hair and I love the color. I'd consult with a hairdresser for the best options for easier care.

My daughter has super thick and long hair as well. She's getting something like this done soon:

Yes! Awesome! That is really cute!:D
Bo's post--That is basically what I have, only short;). Cut it off at the jaw, just below. Love it!:D She told me what to do to get this much volume! It works, back comb at the crown! Plus root lifter and product!:) But, I am in love with this long version, oh my!:biggrin2:

This woman I go to is in school now (she says there are only like 4 cuts) and has won theStylist of the monthin her first three months. She finally did what I've been wanting for years and it looks exactly like that, but shorter, but with the slight diagnal forward;). It is really cute! Mine looks thin, but when she got in it, she was like, your hair is deceptive, haha. It is too, so, I had a hard time getting peeps to cut it right to get the volume at the crown and less dense at thebase. Ugh!:nope::grumpy

COOL!

I love this cut also. I think it's going to be cool for my daughter... my only concern is getting it up for horse shows but I can get her hair nets if we need to.

I think we're going today or tomorrow to get hers done...... she doesn't know yet! she's going to be so excited!

Lexi got her hair done today. It's ADORABLE! It's not as messy as the photo I posted but it could be LOL! They took about a big bucket of hair from her head and she still has lots! The entire salon seemed to love her hairstyle!

Nothing at all wrong with your hair right now Mardigraskisses! :)

I am lucky as my youngest is in school for hair and he does some progressive cuts on me and he can make me look good - normally I am a wash and wear sort of lady.

He seems to thin everything and then cut and he then scolds me to blowdry my hair "down", not "up or you will make it frizzy."

He is the "stylist" for his cheerleading team, fellow students, and even some moms!

You have gorgeous hair... if I can get him to look at the computer I can get his input.

You need to start a thread on it and show us pics!:D(Oh, and Bo? Where did you find that pic?:D)

Margidraskisses? Have you gotten yours done yet?;)

I chopped it off! And for once I didn't cry when I got my hair cut. :blushan:

I will post pictures when I get my new camera. :biggrin2:

I need to get a good photo of Lexi's hair. It's really cute! She loves it.. but she's now having to actually style it before school LOL!

Heh, sorry about the lack of makeup and darkness. Cell phones aren't meant to be cameras. :blushan:

This is what my hair looks like when I roll out of bed now. It is SO much easier to take care of.

Although, the shorter it is, the more the body it has.
On good days it's awesome, but if I'm having a bad hair day.... :pullhair:
