Gunston is probably a mis marked dutch. Do you know how old whidbey is? My mom used to raise himalayan rabbits and by the picture of whidbey laying down i dont think hes long enough for a himi. Heres a picture of my moms himi. See how long and straight she is. Cals are short bodied and really stocky.

The shelter's vet guessed they are about 2 years old.

I see what you mean about Himalayans being longer. But, I was under the impression that Californians were a lot bigger.

Here's another picture of me holding Gunston. It's not a great picture, but it kind of gives an idea of how big they are. (they're about the same size, with Gunston being slightly bigger)

Oh and sorry for any confusion. Gunston is the mostly black one. Whidbey is the mostly white one.

Well then he is not californian if he is two years old. Some other breeds that i can think of that come in the himi color or cal color are mini satins, mini rex, netherland dwarf, and ill have to look in my SOP for more. I can see the himi in his head but his body is more stocky. Maybe a himi mix?

A mix is definitely likely. With so many rabbits breeding at random, who knows what all they could be mixed with.
