How often (and for how long) would you say that your bun (or bunnies) grooms itself (themselves)?

Most days, my girls groom a "normal" amount (for them). But then there are times when it seems that they (Emma especially) go hog wild and groom like fiends. Do others' bunnies do this, too?

Ebony seems to groom herselfevery few minutes if she's not relaxing. If a noise distracts her she might pause, but gets back to it quickly. There always seems to be another area she decides needs to be done :)

That'sa funny question, and only because we've made fun of our buns doing it! We've seen them clean and clean and... clean. Then we're like, you're clean! LOL.:p

So, several times a day for a few mins at a time.

Oh, and heaven forbid, if you carried them anywhere, they need to clean when they get back to their cage!:p Got to get that human smell off.:)

Exactly! I ask my girls if cleaning for them is really just a nervous tic. ;)

I've noticed that, too! LOL Our girls also groom my husband quite a bit yethardly lick me. I tell him that's the case because he must stink, and the bunnies just want tomake the smell go away. :biggrin2:

We joke about this and tease them too! We say things like "OMG! That human touched you BO, hurry get the sanatizer bunny-spit!"

Haha, glad it's not just mine, hee.

It was cute tonight as I didn't take Snuff out to remove his molting hair, but when I fed him his pellets instead. He didn't mind this one bit. He didn't even have to clean afterward, wow!:p Picking them up must be crossing the line!:p Silly bunnies.:)
