Hey all! New member here. I've always been curious about this so I wanted to chime in. My boy Vanta when I pet him usually starts out with very pronounced "I like this" tooth grinds, usually in patterns of three grinds at a time. Sometimes, if I'm petting him for longer, he starts doing quieter more rapid tooth grinds. The best way I can describe it is his basic initial "I like this" petting grinds are like when you're trying to start a car and the engine is turning over three times. When I've been petting him for awhile then it sounds more like when a car is idling. I know that sounds weird but it's the best I can describe it.
Does anybody else experience these "different" levels of petting-satisfaction grinding? I find it fascinating and I wonder if it hits a different part of his brain like he's really settling into Comfort Mode.
