Hello everyone! My name is Ashleigh and I've actually joined for research purposes. I don't own a rabbit yet, though many of my friends and family do, and I'm determined to do as much research as possible before getting one myself.

I am planning on rescuing and I'll definitely be posting regularly seeking advice and asking questions. Thank you in advance for your understanding and help! I hope to bring home my own baby bunny in late May. c:

I've gotten a few bunnies in the past from a rescue in MD. I believe there is more than one rabbit rescue in the state.

Welcome to the forum. We became bunny slaves when one was left behind by a tenant. We did a lot of book buying and reading and joined House Rabbit Society. We now have quite a library, but this site is a source beyond compare.

Thank you for the welcomes, everyone! I'm definitely an advocate of research. I worked at the local Petco for about a year and I was always stressing research to all new pet parents. Uneducated people trying to purchase animals makes me cringe! :c
