Hello, All. I am also getting back into raising rabbits - Netherland Dwarfs - after a brief hiatus. I currently have 12 dwarfs in three colors: Chinchilla, Black Silver Marten, and Chestnut. They come from some good breeders and I am looking forward to what I will find in my nestboxes in the future. My biggest challenge so far has been getting some heat in my 12 X 16 barn. I insulated with some cheap, blue foam panels between the studs, and have an oil-filled electric heater that can keep the barn at about 58 degrees F. The rabbits love it.
Currently I have two mothers with babies (3 chin and 2 silver marten babies in one and 2 silver marten babies in the other; 3 weeks old and 1 week old, respectively) after having trouble getting a litter. The little guys are the cutist things!
