GREAT NEWS!! JUST GOT BACK WITH WOLFGANG FROM THE VET!

i was terrified my new little flemishhad enteritis! went to vet first thing thismorning they kept him there a few hours to do areal good exam and such. he was loaded withcoccidia!! to me excellent news that is verytreatable!! he got an injection of albon and someliquid albon sent home to give him and kipper 2x a day for 10days. gonna treat kipper also since they have been with eachother. said wolfie was dehydrated and a bit underweight sowere gonna work on those issues also. other than that goodhealth. poor guy send him loads of kisses and warm wishes toget better soon

Watch that albon, it's very sticky! It will make them a mess. But it's great stuff.

Glad to hear the good news! The highcocci count was most likely a secondarysign to aviral/bacterial infection. If his droppings were normal whenyou got him, it's unlikely that cocci was the actual cause ofillness. They have a tendency to overpopulate when aviral/bacterial infection alters the ph of the gut. (As I hadmentioned earlier -- don't be surprised by a high cocci count).

Hope he's back to his old self soon!!!

I was there when she got him..they weren'tnormal when she got him..he crapped all over her! LOL...we had a goodlaugh over that....wasn't sure if it was heat (it was VERY hot thatday) or stress or what. I'm just glad its easily treated!

She was gonna give her hubby the dirty shirt as a present...wonder how he liked it...LOL
