Great news for lionhead breeders

I just heard on a lionhead list that I'm on that ARBA has approved another COD for lionheads. The five new colors are:

• Chocolate
• Chocolate Tortoise
• Lilac
• Opal
• Seal

Supposedly - someone else will be attempting to pull a COD in October for some of the otters and martens.

This means that the current lists of colors that are on CODs are:

• Blue
• Blue Point
• Blue Tortoise
• Chestnut Agouti
• Chocolate
• Chocolate Tortoise
• Lilac
• Opal
• Orange
• Pointed White
• Ruby Eyed White
• Sable Point
• Seal
• Siamese Sable
• Smoke Pearl

Since many shows (including Lionhead Nationals) will accept lionheads if the color is on a COD (Certificate of Development) - this is GREAT news.

I'm so glad someone has pulled chocolate.
