Grass for babies?

Now knowing that veggies are a no go for babies is grass ok? I mean freshly hand picked grass. If its okay or is there such a thing as to much?

How old are they? Our kits start nibbling on hay when they're about 3 weeks old. I guess you could use grass from the yard, if you're sure its free from pesticides, any parasites or from being tainted by other animal feces.
