Good for you.

My grade aren'tthat greatthissemester.Grades dont go inofficially till the 15th but I know what I have in myclasses. :( It's my own fault, I sorta slacked offthe past few months when I wasn't feeling so great.

Good for you on the grades though. What grade are you in, college?

Sophomore in college. I'm going to be finishingup this year at the university, then transferring to a pre-vet programfor next fall (where exactly, I haven't figured out yet ;)).

This semester I took relatively "easy" courses: Intro to ASL, FeministPhilosophy (I needed the credits! :p), Career Exp., Public Speaking, and Art. Next semester will be a lot tougher, because I'm takingclasses that I'll need for veterinary medicine, like chemistry. I'llhave lots and lots of chemistry...*ugh*

That's awesome! My husband is in his last year ofschool right now, and his university takes FOREVER to get the gradesup. He feels he's done well this semester though. His major isAerospace Engineering. Way over my head, that's for sure. :p

Eventually, a veterinarian. At the moment, I'm working on classes to transfer to a pre-vet program next fall :)

That is EXCELLENT! My daughter wants to be a vet. She's only 9 but that could change....... I hope not tho.

We need more good vets :)

A big congrats on your accomplishments and goodluck with your future education!!!! Can't wait to have a realvet on our Rabbits Only board :)

I'm so proud of you! Truly! Just gettinggood grades in College is a good thing, but getting all A's isgreat! This was my sons first semester, freshmanyear. As you may recall he's the brainy one- has never had to study-had a 31 on his ACT. He took psychology, algebra,anEnglish writing course andsociology. Hefailedalgebra! :XI suppose he understands now how much more studytime vs. party time it takes. But it was a very expensive lesson and arather humiliating one.We come from a small town where he wasaccustomed to a teacher reminding him if he didn't have a paper in orhe needed to work onsomething. The big college environmentwhere they don't even know your name in some classes or care if youshow up, was certainly a change. Now he knows what he needs todo. It's in his hands if he chooses to do it or not.

Good job m.e.! When you are researchingyour pre-vet schools look into K-State! Then you could spend theweekends withme!

Understand the shock a precocious child gets uponentering the university. We made an agreement with outchildren that they paid for any course in which they earnedless than a "C." In retrospect, we should upped the ante tothey pay for anything less than a "B."

It did provide some incentive, though, I must admit.

I was one of those precocious kids, and collegewas definately a wake-up call! I don't think I studied a lick all theway through high school. I was looking back at the grades from my firsttwo semesters at the university: 4 A's, 4 B's, and a C. It took meuntil my third semester to really get into the "college groove". ;)

Thanks for the tip, Raspberry, I'll have to keep that in mind. I'm researching schools over winter break :?
