Got myself a new hairdo!

I nearly cancelled it this morning since my face is still SO swollen, and hurts so much, but then I decided that I could do with the cheering up, and having your hair done is always so nice and pampering!

I decided to go a bit lighter, so 3 hours later, I emerged a sunnier version of my former self.

So that's it! Steve says he loves it and is very happy that he contributed to it lol. I am glad of the change. I did like it dark, but I wanted to go light for once as well- I've never been this light before!

wow! you've obviously got a great colourist - that lighter shade really suits you. you dont look too bruised in the pics - or is it heavy makeup? everytime i've had my wisdom teeth dealt with i've looked like a punchbag.

I really like the cut/style and colour! I also like the before colour but I think the new colour looks really good! the new colour goes very well with your eyes and skin colour I think. and you have very nice brown eyes too by the way.

since I don't know you and haven't seen you before I can't tell that your face is swollen... and as someone said, you don't look bruised at all (which I was when I had my wisdom teeth out!)

I better stop with the compliments there or you might feel a bit awkward

Aww thanks everyone for your lovely comments! They made me blush! :blushan:

It's still a bit of a shock when I look in the mirror or catch my reflection somewhere and I think 'who IS that blonde girl?!' but I'm really liking it now. None of my friends have seen it yet though, so I'm a little scared of that! I know it's not really properly blonde or anything, but it's way way lighter than I've ever gone before so it's major for me.

Yes, my colourist is pretty amazing! I always have my hair done by her. She's one of the senior stylists there and a little more over all, but well worth it because she does such a great job. I know that whatever I ask of her, and whatever she says it will look like, it will look exactly like that at the end- no nasty surprises!

You can't see the swelling so much in those pictures because I angled my face well to hide it lol, but the last one, you can sort of see it's 'squared off' which is where it's swollen. I also now have 2 yellow bruises on either side of my chin- the other bruises didn't come up too badly in the end luckily!
