Got most of the babies sexed this morning...

At week 3, this is what I came up with. Subject to change as their private areas get bigger. LOL Although last time I was 100% correct on my sexing.

Adeline has 4 does and 3 bucks. The little mystery one (which is some sort of smoke pearl) is one of the does. I was really hoping that would be the case!

Twila has 7 does and 2 bucks.

Alfie has 3 does and 2 bucks.

So far Jack has been siring lots of girls. YAY!

I still have to sex Ruby's babies.

Maria, does are much better. They're easier to sell because everyone is always looking for them. And one buck can breed a lot of does, so you don't need nearly as many.

Exactly!

Awesome with all the does! I wish some of the babies I had, had this past spring were does! I've got a few very nice little bucks though!

Heather, what's funny is that with Adeline's first litter, I was hoping for bucks. I only got 1, and he wasn't what I needed to improve my stock. 2 of her bucks this litter are NICE! They're a lot bigger than their siblings, already have really nice wide faces, good crowns, seem to have really nice bone, etc. Just gotta wait and see what they've got for shoulders/hindquarters to figure out which one (or 2) to keep.

Kitty has 1 nice buck out of Twila's first litter. And now she'll hopefully be able to keep one out of the 3 litters she currently has.

Bucks are needed, but does are definitely more desirable.
