I work at a pet store, and we dont carryrabbits, but a lady came by today and gave us 2 adorable chinchillacolored netherland/lop buns. My coworker took the male homeand I was planning on finding a good home for the female. Butguess what? She ended up at my place! She's thesweetest little thing, already comfortable and playful. Im alittle concerned though...first, she hasn't eaten much, just a littlehay and some veggies this evening. So that means no pooyet. Then, I already have my 3 year old mini rex male who I'mconcerned about. A bit ago he was sniffing her out side ofher cage and everything seemed okay, because before he didnt payattention to her. What do u think is the best way to let themget to know each other? She's only 8 weeks, and hes aneutered 3 year old. Thanks in advance!

would just stick to letting him sniff until u feel she is big enough to hold her own :?

we have a couple of 6-9 months lop and a 2 month lop who is no wherenear there size so until she is bigger she has a section of the roomand they have the other xx

You are supposed to leave some pets for thecustomers! I have noticed that rabbits don't eat much after an upheavallike a new house. Within a week she wil be back to normal and it isgreat that you have 2 buns as they are flock animals.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah i thinkthat I'm going to just let them view eachother through their cages andlet them have turns running around. The little girl is eatingpretty normal, she eats pellets and her alfalfa. Should I begiving her veggies? And is it okay to just give her thpellets my boy is eating (oxbow bunny basics T)? Thanks again!
