to read about the recent outcome regarding two young men who duct tapeda firecracker to a pet rabbit of theirs, lit the fuse and tossed itinto a lake here in Northern California. They even had the guts to tapethe incident and post the photos on the internet. I think they shouldhave gotten a heavier sentence, but at least Lucky survived and theywere penalized to an extent.

There is also a current case against a woman in Hayward, CA for animal abuse and neglect.

There are some sick, sick people out there. They think because they arerabbits that they are expendable, they can just take em and then throwthem away. I'm sorry ...I just know how much my bun or any bun means tome. I just wish people would take them more seriously ... if they wantto act like a child, then give them a stuffed rabbit ... although theywould probably be just as cruel to it.

Just a note about my Harley ... my prince charming is doing fine and back up to nine pounds.

Also, Great news from my friend upper New York State ... his adoptedrabbit (to be) just got spaded and her foster mom will be picking herup sometime TODAY. My friend will probably be picking her (Tess) uparound May 15th.

My friend (our forum mate: sfritz) was the one that lost his beloved "Checkers" last month.
