I am experienced with bunnies and have had a few in the past. I have learned a lot about them over the years but it seems some things have changed. Also, I would like to know what would be a good cage for one rabbit. Nothing too expensive but something nice and roomy. Of course if I do end up getting a bun I would have him/her out A LOT! I have a play room that I can get blocked off so the dog doesn't go in there and so that the bun can have free run. I need a cage that is enclosed all around because I do have a dog and when the bun is in the cage I would not want it jumping out or escaping or anything and having an accident, though my door would be closed when the bun is in there and I would supervise it carefully when it is not and the dog would be no where near the bunny. Anyways, I just woould like some opinions on good cages to get. =) Thanks!

I use xpens (exercise pens) and am really happy with them. They are easy to clean if necessary, I can shape them how I need to as well, and they give a good amount of space for a bun :)

I've used xpens in the past and even though the one I had was tall one of my buns managed to jump out of it. Unless I can find one with a top then that can't be an option.

I built mine from NIC storage cubes. They give the flexibility of creating any size you want, and you can also put a top on it. I have pics under my intro post, or there are many others on the forum with pics of theirs too. It's a thought. Good luck! :biggrin2:

I have an NIC cage I built myself. And give her a front "yard" with an exercise pen.
